Meet at the War memorial in the centre of Hurst Green for a 6.5 mile walk with historic variations of the Tolkien Trail around Stonyhurst, Kemple End and the rivers Hodder and Ribble, If the weather is good we plan to offer an option at the 4.5 mile point for those interested, a second walk to extend our trip along the banks of the River Ribble, making the alternative walk 8.5 miles in total.
